Odyssey Adventure Racing is a unique race promotion organization that specializes in premier ultra-distance and extreme sporting events. Our mission is to create and produce competitive experiences that provide athletes with mental and physical challenges not found in more traditional sports. We strive to attract adventurous individuals who are eager to escape their ordinary routines through bold and daring endurance competitions.

In addition to producing races, Odyssey offers Adventure Racing skills clinics, and for the ultimate learning experience, our Adventure Racing Academy where a staff of professional athletes, experienced adventure racers and adventure skills experts train athletes from all backgrounds on how to successfully compete in this fastest-growing sport.

Odyssey has produced more adventure races and other multi-discipline events than any other sports promotion company in North America. Our team consists of race directors, course designers, race managers, logistics coordinators, administrative directors, the Odyssey Medical/Safety team, and the Dirty Dozen climbing crew.

In addition to producing our own series of adventure races, training academies, skills clinics and other events, Odyssey was selected to produce the 2002 USARA National Long Course Championship Race. We were also contracted in 2001 by PEAK.com to manage and direct the Expedition BVI 4-Day adventure race.

Odyssey is celebrating its 12th season in 2009 as the pioneer adventure racing company in North America.
